They also contain datterino tomatoes, a variety grown in the neighbouring region of Campania. BASIL TOMATO:
The most popular of Favuzzi sauces: velvety crushed tomatoes are seasoned with fresh basil leaves for a delicious herbal flavour.
TUSCAN:
Made with slow-cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tomatoes, the Tuscan-style sauce also features a hint of caramelized red pepper and a touch of garlic. It could be described as the most "classic" Italian sauce, since all its aromatic notes play up the taste of fresh tomatoes in perfect harmony.
VODKA:
This vodka sauce is made with just enough cream to let the delicious taste of tomatoes take centre stage. Smooth and seasoned with fresh basil, it is enhanced by a nice parmesan flavour and a subtle nutty aroma.
YELLOW TOMATO & BASIL:
Less acidic than red tomatoes, yellow tomatoes reveal all their finesse here: a natural sweetness, slightly fruity notes, and remarkable roundness on the palate. Basil, added sparingly, brings a fresh herbaceous touch reminiscent of southern Italian cuisine.
