Castor Oil clams inflamed skin when applied topically and moisturizes deeply.
Carnauba Wax helps protect wounds by providing a barrier on the skin
Evening Primrose Oil is high gamma-linoleic acid (GLA). GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid with potent anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties.
Borage Seed Oil also contains GLA and is often used for skin rashes and disorders including eczema
Lanolin protects and absorbs well into the skin. It holds up to 400 times its weight in water, so it is an excellent moisture reservoir for skin and especially helpful for hot spots.
Thyme is a strong antimicrobial and extremely helpful for4 preventing and treating infection.
Myrrh acts as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.
Echinacea kills bacteria and reduces inflammation. It is especially useful for inhibiting the destruction of tissue caused by flesh eating bacteria including various insect bites.
Allantoin increases water content of skin cells and is extremely useful for healing wounds. Its ability to stimulate cell growth helps clear away dead or unhealthy tissue to make way for new skin cells.
Beeswax forms a protective barrier over the skin without clogging pores. It has also been to shown to rehydrate and rebuild damaged skin cells.
